Q: When is Bolt Run 2017?

A: Bolt Run 2017 is on March 11th 2017.

Q: What do I receive after I register?

A: Each registered participant will receive one ticket to a Lightning game or two tickets to a Tampa Bay Storm game*, Finisher's Award, a commemorative Bolt Run shirt, pre/post-race parties, a race goodie bag, food and beverages. Also a portion of the proceeds will go to the Tampa Bay Lightning Foundation and will be used to serve over 100 charities that benefit from the Lightning Foundation.

Q: What are the packet pick up times and start times on the day of the race?

A: Bolt Run start times and information is as follows: 5:30 am- 6:30 am Day of Race Packet Pick Ups 5:30 am-6:30 am Day of Registration 7:30 am- 5 Mile Run 7:30 am- 5K Run 8:45 am- 1 Mile Run

Q: Are strollers allowed on the race course?

A: Yes. We ask that participants bringing strollers remain toward the back of the group of runners as a courtesy to other athletes.

Q: What is the race route?

A: The 5k and 5mile begin at Amalie Arena and turnaround on Bayshore Boulevard. These races also end on Channelside Drive, right outside Amalie Arena. The 1 mile Family Run will begin at Amalie Arena and go down Channelside Drive.

Q: Can I pick up someone else’s packet?

A: Yes, you may pick up someone else’s race packet.

Q: When are the packet pick up days?

A: Packet pick up days are on March 7th and 8th at Amalie Arena from 3:00-7:00 PM.

Q: Are the t-shirts for Bolt Run gender specific?

A: Yes, we will have women’s and men’s t-shirts in an array of sizing.

Q: Can I purchase additional tickets to the games?

A: Yes, you may purchase additional tickets (pending availability) at the packet pickup times.

Q: Will there be day of registration?

A: Yes, day of registration will be open from 5:30-6:30 am. No new race registrations will be accepted after 6:30 am.

Q: Will there be day of packet pickups?

A: Yes, packets will still be available for pick up on the day of the event.

Q: How far is a 5k?

A: 3.1 miles

Q: Is the Bolt Run timed?

A: The 5K and 5Mile races are timed. The 1 Mile Family Fun Run is not timed.

Q: Can friends and family attend the post-race party even if they did not participate in the race?

A: Yes, friends and family are welcome to join you at the post-race party!

Where can I find the Course Map?

The course map can be found under the Event tab and under Downloads.

Q: What is the refund policy?

A: There are no refunds, transfers, or credits for this race. This event will be held rain, shine, or snow. Registrants cannot change race event once they have completed registration.

Q: Will there be race awards?

A: Every 5k and 5mile participant will receive a finisher's race medal. Additionally, the 1st place finishers in 5-year age ranges in the 5k and 5 Mile will receive a prize.
